Gojo

Taken into our care in 2022, Gojo is our oldest passenger despite his young age. Abandoned in a clinic, he underwent surgery at an SPCA, and was then entrusted to us due to his complex medical condition.

Why help Gojo?

Since the end of 2022, we've been offering comfort care to this gentle giant. He's hanging on to life, so we're accompanying him in his final months/years.
He'll remain in our care until the end, while enjoying the love of his foster mom.

Adopt him virtually and you'll enjoy a range of exclusive benefits: a monthly newsletter about Gojo, access to the sponsorship group, an adoption certificate sent by Canada Post, and a small gift if you sponsor him for more than 3 months!

His story

This giant Malamute avoided euthanasia before ending up with us. His adoption potential is simply non-existent due to his multiple malformations, the high cost of his food (around $400 a month) and the medication he will need for the rest of his life.

The list of Gojo's health problems (past and present) is long: foreign bodies, hypothyroidism, ataxia, hypoplasia of the portal vein without portal hypertension, probable lumbar physitis, epiphyseal slippage of the femoral heads, possible inflammatory bowel disease.
